Carolyn Schwartz, PhD and Victor Goldman, CSW, marriage partners, psychotherapists and dance instructors have taught classes at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Our Lady of Wisdom, Stony Brook School, Ward Melville, Sachem and Port Jefferson High Schools, Chautauqua Institution, Gurney's Inn, The Vanderbilt Museum and more than twenty libraries throughout Suffolk County. They conduct ongoing small group classes and private lessons at Chance To Dance Studios in East Setauket and Port Jefferson, Long Island, New York.They have written an ongoing column on ballroom dancing and relationships for Dancing USA and have written articles for Amateur Dancer (the official publication of the United States Amateur Dancers Association), The Rotarian (the official publication of Rotary International), and Creations. They have studied with the United States and Canadian Champions in both Latin and smooth dancing, and have attended Brigham Young University's dance camp for the past twelve years.Carolyn and Victor have been featured in articles in The New York Times, Newsday and The Port Jefferson Times Record, and have appeared on Channel 12 News and TeleCare with Father Frank Pizzarelli. |
